KATIE KIRKPATRICK
Katie Kirkpatrick originally hails from California, but now calls Washington, DC home. She has been performing and teaching Brazilian Samba in the DMV area for 10 years, and is one of the founding members of the DMV's first samba school, VaVa United School of Samba. She has trained with some of the best samba experts in the country, as well as from Brazil, and specializes in choreography, technique, and stylings. She considers it a privilege to bring the joy of Brazilian culture and music to audiences and students everywhere.
