AMARIA RETURNS TO WASHINGTON DC!
It's hard to believe Amaria has been working in Cairo for eight years now, since 2018. That's a long time for a belly dancer, especially through COVID. She's had time to learn the ins and outs, the ups and downs, and all the trending moves of Egypt's fast-paced club scene. As resident dancer of the Nile Pharoah she gets plenty of practice.
Did you know she began belly dancing on a military base in Augusta, GA.? And that her first gig was in Phoenix, AZ.? Then came New York and Washington DC. until she finally followed her heart and moved to Cairo. And in spite of a world pandemic, she's still there, living her dream and learning all the latest moves she can't wait to share with us. Come! You don't want to miss this fun afternoon of cool moves and local insight :

IN PERSON: drop-in price is $20.00 / hour or $15.00 / hour with a class card. Priority is given to class card holders if classes are full.

IN PERSON: drop-in price is $12.00. All levels. PLEASE BRING DANCE SHOES. NO STREET SHOES ALLOWED IN THE STUDIO.

This is the selection of physical products for sale in our store (in the drop down menu above) from Sands of Time Music and Leila Productions. For digital downloads - Leila's music can be downloaded from her web site and Sands of Time Music can be found on iTunes, CD Baby, YouTube, Spotify and Amazon. But you won't get the CD booklets that way. Many of our albums contain 40 page booklets with in-depth articles about the artists and songs, plus the transliterated and translated lyrics. Individual booklets are also for sale in our store.

All our lanterns are hand made in Morocco. We sell them mainly at the studio. While shipping can be arranged, there will be an extra packing fee to protect against glass breakage. Please contact us for details. Light fixtures are not included. Morocco uses a different electrical current than North America.
